The café adds a modern flare to classic bistro style, and has become the hub of the North Shore Film Studio social scene. We also operate a full service catering facility within the Café for our Production Office catering, as well as our wedding and corporate catering.

For the past 80 years, UBC Food Services has been serving the campus and surrounding communities. We began with 20 employees and 1 unit, at the Old Auditorium Cafeteria, and have grown to 360 and 31, respectively. At UBC Food Services, we have an opportunity to create positive change, improve the state of the world around us, foster growth in our people and be our absolute best, each and every day.

Catered Art is committed to green initiatives and continuously seeks new avenues to ‘green’ our product and workplace for a greener future. Our latest initiative is to operate zero-waste events, not only are we recycling and composting everything at our headquarters, we are supplying compost and recycle bins on off-site events which complement our use of 100% compostable and biodegradable disposable event-wares.

Catered Art thrives on using seasonal local, wild and free run products as our first choice in commitment to support local suppliers and adhering to our promise of only serving the highest quality of menu ingredients and supplies. For the health of our staff and environment we use biodegradable and organic cleaning products.
